M-Link mechanical specification is backwards compatible with S-Link. M-Link adds extra height at component side, symmetric bidirectional signaling.
The difference is in mounting holes, M-Link uses 68.0 mm x 107.0 mm mounting hole rectangle pattern while S-Link uses trapezoidal pattern.
M-Link mounting hole diameter is 3.2 mm with surrounding keep-out circle of 7.0 mm in diameter.
M-Link has no key holes.
