AFI LLDP

Our devices uses LLDP (802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol) and LLDP-MED (LLDP-Media Endpoint Discovery ANSI/TIA-1057) protocols to describe themselves in local network.

LLDP-MED

OUI: 00-12-bb

At this moment we uses following subtypes described in protocol:

5 - Hardware Revision
6 - Firmware Revision
8 - Serial Number
9 - Manufacturer Name
10 - Model Name

LLDP-AFI

For more detailed information we append our Organizationally Specific block (with OUI: 02-a6-b8). It can have two subtypes.

TLV type = 127	TLV len	organizationally unique identifier (OUI)	organizationally defined subtype	organizationally defined data
7 bit	9 bit	3 octets	1 octet	0≤n≤507 octets

Subtype 1

This block contains device Id and serial number. Although and in what chassis slot is inserted.

This block contains information about master and MStream connections.

Lock status:

1^st bit - is Master host
