It is designed specially for [[BeamPositionMonitor|Beam Position Monitor]] system, however may be used inside PC or as standalone device. For PC applications it is used in couple with [[CCB-PCIe]] carrier board and utilize one PCI-Express slot. BPM4100 is designed to operate within group of 30-60 devices interconnected with ring topology network. BPM4100 has onboard [[PAMP-4]] preamplifier.
